Black Bottle + Food Lifeline

As owners of Black Bottle and Bar Vacilando, we’d like to thank our amazing crew, guests, and vendors. In this season of gratitude, we’re pleased to donate $4574 to Food Lifeline. That’s equivalent to 22,870 nutritious meals! And because today is Giving Tuesday, our donation is being matched in full. This means 45,740 meals will go to underserved communities throughout our region! For every food item you purchase at one of our restaurants we will continue to donate one meal to Food Lifeline on our shared behalf. Eat with us and together we serve those in our community who need it most.

Thank you!!!

Happy Holidays
November 30, 2021

Thank you for making this good cause possible!

We are excited to share with you our partnership with Food Lifeline. Black Bottle made a commitment that if we’re fortunate enough to stay in business after the pandemic eases we would double down on our pledge to give back to our communities in need. For the last ten years we’ve made annual donations to Food Lifeline, which is a fantastic not-for-profit organization committed to helping underserved communities fight hunger.

For each share-plate our guests purchase, an equivalent nutritious meal is made possible through Food Lifeline. With your help and on our shared behalf, to date since April 2021 when we reopened, we made a donation equivalent to 15,649 meals. We want to thank our amazing crew and all our partners, vendors, Food Lifeline, and guests, thank you! May we continue to serve you. And together continue our privilege to donate to those most in need.

We also want to take a moment to thank our landlords AvalonBay and New Pacific, for helping make our dream of reopening possible. We thank you and look forward to working with you for years to come.
